The Big Honzo is a killer bike for the price. It's got everything you need and nothing you don't. Hubs featuring Boost spacing hold nice, beefy 2.8" tires. Hydraulic disc brakes and an 11-speed drivetrain keep the ride feel consistent and intuitive. This is the perfect bike for when you need a little extra grip rolling over tricky roots and rocks.
The Big Honzo DL is exactly what the name implies. It's a Honzo with bigger tires and a nice build kit featuring hydraulic disc brakes and 130mm of suspension. You'll get a little extra squish thanks to the 2.8" tires that absorb bumps with ease. Comfortable geometry and an adjustable travel dropper post ensure you're always at just the right position on your bike whether you're climbing that big mountain or descending down your favorite flow trail!
Much like its larger-wheeled sibling, the Mahuna, the Cinder Cone is the perfect all-rounder for the person looking to ride off-road or cruise around the backwoods bike paths. It features an air fork with 100mm of travel, as well as a dependable 11-speed drivetrain and disc brakes. If you're a fan of plus bikes, you can run up to 2.8" tires. The Cinder Cone is where the mountain meets functionality at a great price.
Style points matter. The Coco pays homage to the classic European step-through bicycle. Internal shift cable routing helps keeps the lines clean and sleek, and puncture-resistant tires help keep the ride stress-free. This is the bike that makes neighborhood cruising more fun, so we don't blame you if you "forgot the milk/beer/wine" and need to ride back to the store to pick it up. Don't be surprised if you turn a few heads on this bike!
The Dew is our classic all-around commuter/townie option for someone looking for an affordable, comfortable ride. The Dew is an efficient bike that features a drivetrain with a broad gear range and integrated brake and shifter levers. Equal parts functional and fun, the Dew is equally at home hopping curbs on urban rides, cruising the bike paths, or rallying your local taco truck time trial.
The Dew Deluxe is the workhorse of choice for commuters from all around the world, whether riding to work or to the grocery store. A reliable, easy-to-ride bike ensures a safe and efficient ride every time you're on it. With upright and comfortable geometry, a reliable 11-speed drivetrain, hydraulic disc brakes, fast-rolling, puncture-resistant 650B x 47 tires, and fenders with mud flaps, the Dew Deluxe will get you there in no time at all.
When riding your bike, you want a few simple things. Comfort, function, and control are at the top of the list, so we built the Dew Plus with all three in mind. The Dew Plus features a 10-speed drivetrain for smooth shifting and a broad gear range. Hydraulic disc brakes keep the bike in control in tricky conditions. With geometry that keeps the rider comfortable on rides long or short and a kickstand, it's a great choice for commutes.
The Dr Dew is sure to be a looker among the throngs of urban bikes. The Dr Dew features a sleek Cromoly Butted frame in subtle, yet eye-catching colors. A 12-speed groupset keeps shifting ultra-smooth and geared for any big hill the city may have. Powerful hydraulic disc brakes keep the speed in check, and puncture-resistant 650x47c tires keep the potholes at bay. The Dr Dew is efficiency and style rolled into one killer flat-bar commuter. KONA CROMOLY Very few materials offer as much shock absorption, durability and supple-ride characteristics as steel. We've never strayed from cycling's original material and have worked tirelessly to adapt, refine and innovate Kona Cromoly framesets as rider demands continue to evolve. TAPERED HEAD TUBE More girth at the bottom of the head tube better distributes shock force, prolonging the bearing life of the headset itself and eliminating brake shudder, while providing confident steering performance. The inherent strength of its triangular design also means a stronger steering position and improved balance, giving the rider more control in rough terrain. A zero-stack, tapered head tube also puts strength where the load is going—into the lower headset cup—maximizing bearing durability where it's needed. TUBELESS COMPATIBLE RIMS Tubeless rims allow for tires with more puncture resistance; the ability to run lower tire pressure, which provides better tire grip on the trail; lower rolling resistance; and weight savings over traditional tube and tire systems. 12x142mm AXLE 12x142mm, 12x148 and 12x157 rear axle standards provide two major advantages to the Kona rider: the 12mm diameter of the rear axle provides the rear hub and frame with a stiff interface, while the 142/148/157mm outer diameter of the hub allows the wheel to be quickly and properly positioned in the frame before the rear axle is inserted. Now, you'll see the 12x148 Boost standard in the mix. Boost spacing provides more tire clearance at the chainstay yoke, while the rear wheel is stiffer and more durable relative to a 12x142 thru-axle. 650b WHEELS 650b wheels and tires have a similar overall diameter to a traditional 700c gravel or commuting tire, but with a smaller diameter rim and a wider, taller tire. The extra air volume in this new generation of urban and mixed-surface tires means they can be run comfortably at lower pressures while still rolling quickly on a variety of surfaces. It's the best of both worlds.
This Kona classic brings some of the finer things to light. The Fire Mountain is running a smooth-shifting 9-speed drivetrain to keep things manageable across varying terrain and hydraulic disc brakes to stop on a dime. With 100mm of adjustable suspension and sturdy tires aboard wider 27mm rims, the Fire Mountain helps build confidence off-road. Available for smaller riders in a 26" wheeled XS version and a 27.5" wheel for sizes S-XL. Wheel size: - Size X-Small: 26-inch - Sizes Small – X-Large: 27.5-inch
If you're looking for a bike that is a little bit XC and a little bit rock n' roll, look no further than the Hei Hei. Our Race Light 6061 Aluminum frame has been perfectly designed to be fast and strong. A 120mm fork keeps things controlled on the front end while the rear shock provides 100mm of travel and keeps the back end in check. A 12-speed drivetrain is the perfect complement to powerful hydraulic disc brakes and keeps the Hei Hei at the forefront of the most-wanted aluminum XC steeds. KONA 6061 ALUMINUM Kona 7005 and 6061 Aluminum alloys are used extensively throughout our fleet of mountain and asphalt bicycles. A tough, durable, light alloy, both Kona 7005 and 6061 deliver fantastic, reliable performance that lasts for thousands of rides. Much of our 7005/6061 tubing is butted and/or formed, meaning the tubing's wall thickness can be increased or decreased, as well as shaped, so we can fine-tune a particular frame's strength and ride characteristics depending on its intended application. INTERNAL HEADSET Bearing cups are actually pressed into the frame and are easily removable. An internal headset also reduces stack height, so the height of the stem and bars are more adjustable, giving the rider the best fit possible. TAPERED HEAD TUBE More girth at the bottom of the head tube better distributes shock force, prolonging the bearing life of the headset itself and eliminating brake shudder, while providing confident steering performance. Boost spacing provides more tire clearance at the chainstay yoke, while the rear wheel is stiffer and more durable relative to a 12x142 thru-axle. FUSE INDEPENDENT SUSPENSION The Fuse Independent Suspension is designed to be as lightweight and efficient as possible, oriented specifically for the demands of the modern XC trail rider. Like all of our suspension platforms, the Fuse IS is designed around a single pivot with a predictable leverage ratio for a responsive, snappy feel. Built for our Hei Hei platform, the frame features a seat stay that relies on small degrees of frame flex rather than a pivot at the seat and chainstay junction. The result is an efficient, laterally stiff suspension system that takes weight savings to a new level.
The Hei Hei CR marries practical and sleek together to produce a workhorse of a bike. We put the focus on making this bike fast and functional while maintaining a price point that allows for more people to enter the realm of a higher-end XC bike without the highest-end price tag. The Hei Hei CR features Kona Race Light Carbon frame with geometry designed to make longer rides more achievable for every rider. This is the perfect bike for riders looking to smash lines between the tape or take on the local epic loops.
The Hei Hei CR DL is a bike that wins big. It's bagged three 24-hour solo world championships under Cory Wallace. It's won huge stage races and its bagged world records. The gorgeous Kona Race Light Carbon frame features tasty, high-end components that are light, sturdy, and intended to go the distance. Don't be fooled by the 120mm of travel. We built this bike so not only does it climb like a bat out of hell, but it is fully capable of taking you down some seriously tricky terrain. Go fast and win big with the Hei Hei CR DL. KONA CARBON Designed to be lightweight and built to demanding standards. Carbon fiber has long been praised for its weight and strength, but rather than chase grams, we place our efforts on the performance that is possible when the right high-modulus fibers are in the right places. Our designers work very closely with our manufacturer to ensure there is no compromise to the desired ride characteristics, durability and – finally – weight stipulations that we expect from our bikes. Often imitated, but never duplicated, the Honzo is a part of Kona's foundation. The Honzo is the solution for the rider wanting something a bit more aggressive than a traditional cross-country hardtail. A 120mm fork provides just enough suspension to make quick work of technical sections of trail. Whether you're a seasoned rider looking for a timeless hardtail or a newer rider looking to go a bit deeper into the mountain bike world, the Honzo is an excellent choice.
The Honzo 20 is for the mini ripper who has no problem keeping up with the older sibling and needs a bike that rides hard too! The Honzo 20 fits 20 x 2.6" tires, making it easier to roll over obstacles on the trail. QR hubs keep tube swaps easy, and a 60mm fork keeps the ride nice and plush. The Honzo 20 will have your grom taking over the neighborhood in no time!
When we made the Honzo, we knew this would be a bike people would want to ride forever. Since we all grow out of kids' bikes, we figured we'd make a kids' Honzo that was as cool as the version their parents ride. It comes with wider kid-friendly 2.6" tires to boost traction and an 80mm fork to provide the perfect amount of squish whether your kid is hitting jumps in the yard or crushing you down the backyard trail.
For the hardtail enthusiast, the Honzo DL is a quintessential bike to have in your quiver. Featuring an aluminum frame with geometry derived from the Process 134 it's ready to rip up and down the trails. A short seat tube allows you to run a longer dropper post, and adjustable dropouts allow you to run the bike geared or as a single speed. Sitting squarely between the Honzo and the Honzo ESD – the Honzo DL is the all-round hardtail for any location. If Mad Max rode a bike, it would be the Honzo ESD. It's part Honzo, part monster, and with geometry that inspired the Process X, it's made for those who want to punish the trails. A steel frame holds a Marzocchi Bomber Z1 fork with 150mm of travel. It's got strong 4-piston brakes, grippy Maxxis rubber, and a headtube badge that will scare your children at night. This is the Warrior of the Wasteland.
The 24" Hula is designed for the kid that's a bit too tall for the 20" Makena, is quickly progressing their skills and is moving up in the neighborhood shred ranks. Running 2.6" tires ensures maximum traction. The wheels are laced to QR hubs for ease of use. A 1x drivetrain for simple shifting, a 28-tooth chainring for easy pedaling, and kid-friendly geometry make the Hula the perfect bike to grow up with.
The working rider's steed, the Jake the Snake is the go-to bike for Cyclocross racers and hard-core commuters, alike. The legendary Jake the Snake features race-driven geometry in a tough yet light aluminum frame and a full-carbon flat-mount disc fork and is accompanied by tubeless-ready wheels. It's not your typical sketchy cross bike. It's got a slightly higher stack height so it's practical as a commuter. It's the perfect bike to take to your local CX race and the perfect bike to ride to work and rip the little bits of sneaky singletrack you find en route. It's practical every day and ready to crush it on your crazy type-2 adventures!
