I can't recommend this shoe enough! I had been looking for my first pair of cycling shoes for a long time and because I had never cycled in cycling shoes before, I had nothing to compare it to. However, all of the shoes I tried were so uncomfortable. I ride a road bike for fitness and a mountain bike for fun. I'm not doing anything too technical on the mountain bike and I'm not racing on the road bike. I just ride for fun. I wanted a shoe that I could use for both. The mountain bike shoes that I bought initially, hurt my feet so much when I peddled that I had to return them. When I tried these shoes on it was like Cinderella with the glass slipper. They fit perfectly. I have used them about 4 times a week for the past 3 months on both my mountain bike and my road bike and I love them. The straps are easy to adjust on the fly and the shoes are always comfortable whether peddling or walking. I would definitely recommend these shoes.

I got these shoes at the end of the 2012 season to replace a pair of Specialized shoes I had for almost 20 years. What I had liked about the Specialized is that they were so light. When I went looking for replacements I had a terrible time finding non-road shoes that were light. I ride a hybrid - I'm not a mountain biker and I'm not a racer. I ride 25-40 miles at a shot, and I like to be able to get off the bike and walk around a town to get lunch, etc. These shoes fit the bill perfectly. They're sturdy but not as heavy and clunky as others I tried, which is a huge plus. They are easy to get on and the three velcro flaps make it possible to adjust them perfectly. They give good support as I ride and I'm able to walk fine in them. I would highly recommend them.
